Ponies in Media

My little Pony: Friendship is magic also has a huge part to do with media.  Since becoming an internet fad, it has made it's way into every day media on the web. Examples of this is not being able to go to many websites now adays without a brony being a part of the comunity. They have music, PMV's, Custom anmitions and thosands of art peices. It has almost taken over a HUGE part of Youtube. It is fair to say that if this fad continues, ponies will be a huge part of media for a long time.

Meet the "Mane Cast"

My Little Pony: Friendship is magic hosts 6 ponies as the main (Usually called "Mane Characters or Mane Cast"...ha-ha funny pun) characters of the show, each of these characters represent an "Element of Harmony" which are the elements that the ponies found during the first episode.
Their are 3 (4 if you count alicorns) races of ponies.

Earth Pony: These ponies are just regular ponies, usually known for their strength.

Unicorn: These ponies have a horn on their head and that horn gives them the ability to use magic.

Pegasus: These ponies have wings which give them the ability to fly.

Alicorn: Only two of these ponies are known and they are the Princess of Equestria(The land the ponies live in) they have both wings and a horn)

Now these are the mane six and a bit about them, these aren’t me giving opinions on these characters, its just who they are, maybe later in the blog ill do my own version, but for now this is just the general description.
The mane six are:

Twilight Sparkle: She is the protagonist of the show, she is a unicorn pony and represents the element of magic. She is very skilled in magic and a bit of a book worm and organization freak.

Rarity: She is also a unicorn pony; she is obsessed with fashion and is always afraid to get her hooves dirty. She lives in the shop she owns where she sells dresses. She is the element of generosity.

Applejack: She is an earth pony and represents the element of honesty.  She is a pony with a southerner accent and lives on the apple farm with her family.

Pinkie Pie: She is an earth pony and represents the element of laughter. She is always hyper and LOVES to party.  She lives in a bakery called Sugar Cube Corner and is extremely random.

Fluttershy: She is a Pegasus pony and represents the element of kindness.  She is shy and has the ability to talk to critters.  She lives in her cottage and takes care of the animals.

Rainbow Dash: Rainbow Dash is a Pegasus pony, and she is called "Dash" for a reason.  She is an amazing flyer and extremely fast. She is a bit of a tomboy pony and she is the element of loyalty.
